The electric Coulomb driving system and the micro-displacement detecter are employed, both of which are contact free type also developed by ourselves. Furthermore, a special high temperature displacement detecter has been invented for the high temperature device (TWE-HT).
In the TWE series are prepared
a compact, computer built-in type exclusively for room temperature measurement (TWE-RT),
a high temperature manual type (TWE-HTm), which requires manual opertion in temperature setting and measurement, and
a computer controlled automatic high temperature type (TWE-HT).
Like the equipments of other series, TWE can be connected to other devices for other various purposes.
Method of measurement: cantilever characteristic vibration type Driving system: contactless electro-static driving Range of applied vibration frequency: 40Hz ~ 2000Hz Detection system: by contactless detection by Κ-displacement device Range of detectable frequency: 600Hz ~ 20,000Hz Materials to be measured: metals Standard specimen size: (in mm units) thin plate; 40~100mm L~ 10~19mm W~ 0.1~1mm T thin wire; 40~100mm L~ 0.1~1mm Σ The sizes must be such that the vibrations are within the frequency range of the equipment. Electric furnace for TWE-HT: maximum temperature; 800 (special order for higher temperature use is possible) OptionsFThe measuring part of another series equipment can be attached. Optional attachment of other functions and inquiries on other kinds of improvement are welcome.
